hat if your doctor came to you—not just when you’re unwell, but regularly throughout the year to help you stay at your best?
We’re Charlie and Henry, doctors who believe in a better, more personal approach to care. That’s why we founded The Bristol Practice.
We focus on long-term relationships built on trust and understanding, offering unhurried, holistic care tailored to you—not just your symptoms.
Healthcare should be personal, proactive, and fit effortlessly into your life. Even better, it should be led by a familiar face who knows you well and helps you stay well — year in, year out.
We’re bringing back the values of the traditional family doctor, paired with modern medicine and genuine care.
Join us — you’ll feel better for it.

Traditional healthcare models are reactive rather than proactive. They tend to wait until you’re unwell and then try to fix the issue. But that misses the point — the real focus shouldn’t be on firefighting, but on improving your baseline and making you healthier in the first place.

By having regular appointments throughout the year, we have the time and opportunity to treat you as an individual, not just a collection of symptoms.
We want patients to value our service, to cherish the difference it makes to their lives.

You’re free to leave whenever you want. But of course, we hope you won’t. The service is delivered in quarterly segments, for a simple monthly fee of £140. Each quarter, we arrange a 45-minute consultation where we make plans, arrange any necessary treatments and diary follow-up sessions.
In the meantime, patients are welcome call us to discuss any health issues they might have, just as they would with their regular NHS GP.
We believe that continuity of care and a personal, personable, patient-doctor relationship is the key to better long-term health. Whatever your goals and ambitions in life — from running a business to running a marathon — we’ll do everything we can to make sure your health is up to the task

Dr. Charlie Marshall
Charlie worked in the NHS before moving to Australia, where he found his feet in a busy A&E department on the East Coast. Returning to the UK, he trained as a GP, while researching medical humanities and their positive effects on his colleagues’ wellbeing.

When the working day’s over, he enjoys playing football in the Bristol Downs Association Football League, a 120-year-old amateur, grassroots league, tuning into Bristol’s lively music scene and rolling board-game dice.
